Steve Hafner
Founder and CEO
Steve has been helping non-profits improve donor engagement by enhancing the quality of their donor data
for eighteen years. In the early nineties, he developed what would become the definitive database
on corporate matching gift policies, GiftPlus™, which is now used by thousands of non-profits and
universities in the U.S. and abroad. Steve founded HEP Development in 1996 to provide data services
to the non-profit industry.
To date, HEP has released more than ten trade-marked products. Steve resides in the foothills of
the Blue Ridge Mountains with his wife, Hasina and three children - Dominic, Daniella and Zack Francis.

Marianna Funk
Director of Customer Service
and Matching Gift Research
HEP/CASE Client Coordinator
After twenty years of experience
working for entrepreneurs in the Northern Virginia area,
Marianna joined HEP in 2004. She is responsible for all
aspects of customer relations, matching gifts and since the
HEP/CASE merger, coordinates the HEP/CASE client base.
Marianna and her husband, Craig, live in Virginia and have
two grown children, Steven and Katherine.

Theodore "Ted" Hafner
Managing Director - Wealth Services
Ted joined HEP in January of 2008 after successfully serving as the managing director
for WealthEngine's online prospect research service for nearly 7 years. Since joining HEP,
he has applied his datamining and prospect research experience towards the significant
enhancement of WealthTracker, HEP's prospect research online service. He resides just
across the river from our nation's capital in Arlington, VA. Philosophy, medieval history,
the study of Arabic, and the geopolitics of the Middle East are some of his current interests.

Doris Dimino
Senior Research Specialist
Doris joined HEP in 2006 as a Research Specialist. She is responsible
for Research Inquiries and her office is located in Raleigh, NC.

| Mike Westfall
Annual Giving Consultant
Mike brings a great deal of Annual Giving experience to HEP. After
successful tenures with Michigan State, Virginia Tech and the
University of Toronto, Mike is currently the Vice
President for University Advancement for Eastern Washington University. In the
first years of overseeing varied annual giving programs, Mike has seen
substantial increases of dollars and donors based upon the majority of
infrastructure and marketing practices he shares with clients. Within
the telefund spectrum, Mike has served as a national telefund user group
chairperson. Efundraising experience includes multiple presentations, an
extensive Annual Giving website study/review and a Case Currents article
contribution. Mike is a constant speaker within CASE and regular
contributor to www.supportingadvancement.com. The experience above
coupled with Mike's attention to fundamental infrastructure practices
will provide the tools needed for continued success. |

John Wright
Business Development Director
John has been in the non-profit field for over twenty years. He was one of two
founders of Invest/Net which tracked insider trading for the
Securities & Exchange Commission. Invest/Net developed an on-line service as well
as an insider matching service used by many non-profits. He developed the weekly
insider trading column both in the Wall Street Journal and in many of the local
newspapers you continue to see today. After Invest/Net was acquired by Thomson and
became CDA/Investment John continued to manage the non-profit group within Thomson
for a number of years. His wife Karen also worked at St.John’s College in Advancement
for over ten years. John has also had significant experience in finding HNW individuals
for the financial brokerage and banking firms over the years. He is a graduate of Hofstra University.

Hazel Coupar
Coordinator,
Matching Gifts Fulfillment
Administrative Assistant
Hazel joined HEP in February 2008 and handles matching gift product inquiries and orders.
For the previous nine years she worked with an international non-profit membership association.
Originally from England, Hazel has lived in Toronto, New York and now resides in Northern Virginia
with her husband in an almost empty nest!

Joan Graham
Director of Client Relations
Joan is a graduate of George Mason University. She began her career in the association
management field; including eight years with Washington, DC based non-profit organizations.
After moving to South Florida with her husband and daughter in 1998, Joan became involved
in fundraising and development in the private school sector. Besides her development work,
Joan is very active in the local community, serving as a Guardian ad Litem for
the Broward County Family Court System and the county’s Women in Distress Program.
Joan joined HEP in 2007 and is focused on matching gift resources.

A veteran of the web industry utilizing Java and Open Source Technologies for 14 years, Matt
Neuendorf has helped companies like Network Solutions, Online Resources and numerous Web Start-ups.
After taking a small sabbatical to Japan he came back with an eye to make the web even better.
